Excellent. The research heavy lifting really paid off

A bunch of things I love about this:

-a literal Chad

-did you do research to learn the crypto lingo or did you already know it? It felt very real!

-always amazed by how you can build stories around a plant!

-retelling of a classic fable in such an unexpected and modern way

-loved the imagery as everything turned to binary

Oh I did sooo much research 😂 I knew nothing about crypto so it was a lot of reading before I even got started. I’m glad you liked it!

Wow. I am impressed then. I thought you had personal experience or something!!

Nope, just a bit obsessive😅

What a story. Classic greed tragedy.

Thank you! I definitely set out to modernize the Midas tale.

“Never Lambo” great final thoughts from such a shithead character! I had a blast reading this!

Great stuff. So easily could be developed into a novella-length satirical piece incorporating some of the same themes and developing them with more incidents - including the involvement of the witch, sorry, magic worker.

And then you could launch your own memecoin with associated NFTs, and go to the moon baby. Don't give me no FUD, now - make it happen.

No FUD, I was thinking as I wrote it that it needed a little more space to really be effective. I basically stole the Midas story because I liked the visual of everything turning into binary. Plus greed is greed, no matter what century you’re in. But it could have had a little more impact I think if he starved to death while his crypto balance got fatter and fatter.

Over 3000 wds in one piece though, and mostly no one reads. Anyway, it’s on my TBRewritten “when I have time” list, lol.
