The water’s visage calls me
Forth with my own gaze
This is such a terrifying thought for me, love it!

Wicked! Very dark, I love it. Also, structurally, I love the em dash.

Is it my familiar
Or does it own me?
I like this, makes me think about codependency with our demons. Very cool!

says yes--Just needs blood.
Sharp beak scratches skin.
Pain blossoms in the darkness -
bright. Wings beat a spell.
