My hook is crooked

Reflecting from the sea floor

Waiting for release

Many arms embrance

The ship’s keel, timbers shatter

Like a brittle spine.

Lurker in the depths

The skerries form as you rise

Tentacles thrashing

Very cool scene, I love that there are several ways this scene could play out🖤

Hmm… I wonder if the kraken dies after spawning like squid do??

Not if they grow into sea monsters. “Release the Kraken.”

Perhaps we’ve been misinterpreting the phrase ‘release the kraken’ and it is actually something all the hatchlings say reverently to their mother as she shuffles off her mortal coil.

Oh cool! Sounds terrifying! I don’t read nearly enough sci-fi, I need to check this out when it’s done.
