Serves up cod from ocean depths
A fisherman’s friend
They would fish above The Kraken’s lair, ready to row out, when the beast began to rise.
My hook is crooked
Reflecting from the sea floor
Waiting for release
Many arms embrance
The ship’s keel, timbers shatter
Like a brittle spine.
