Space is a vacuum. No sound can travel through a vacuum because there are no particles to carry a sound wave.

Crushing and empty
You scream into the darkness
Your mouth a dark void
So it’s true that in space, no one can hear you scream, because in space, the sound would never even leave your mouth.
Starlit emptiness
Our love speaks without a sound
Hearts beat in silence
.
Vacuum of space, yet
Your presence fills my being
Wordless connection
.
In the void, we float
Lips move, no whisper escapes
Love needs no echo
Absolute stillness
An unknown circumstance which
Would drive us all mad.
