At the water’s edge
A baby’s cry draws you in
To the monster’s trap
It used the hand on the end of its tail to grab humans, so it could eat their eyes, nails, and teeth.

A reeled in slippery sensation
An algae Aztecs net from boats
But surprise , devours their eyes ,
Hands down, tail, nails, teeth begone.
