Spat out from some kind of naturally occurring particle accelerators, cosmic rays are atom fragments that rain down on Earth. Scientist aren’t exactly sure where they come from.

You will absorb me
Deep into you flesh, I’ll warm
And warp, cells degrade
Cosmic rays are a type of radiation, if they hit electronic equipment they can cause errors. If they hit something alive, they can damage tissue and cause mutations in DNA.
