As an introvert, I am all too aware😂 There are people in my orbit who drain me so fast I do everything I can to avoid them. I sometimes feel like introverts don’t *have* social batteries, we *are* social batteries.
I'm fortunate enough to live among people who are a lot more discreet than that.
I think Americans, and particularly Californians, are very eager to get all up in your psychology, probing - perhaps with 'good intentions' - for your weak spots more or less continually.
In a way it's a perfectly normal thing, people feed off each other's life energy all the time
