Yeah, this outcome actually surprised me!! I must perhaps reevaluate my views of humanity, and how we might handle this situation which probably bears more resemblance to true life possibilities than I'd like to believe... we may be monsters, but couldn't compare to the gods... and other things. Love your style. 🖤🙏✨ The introduction was badass, very fascinating, with a foreboding sense of gravity humming in the background I realize now... then it gets super intense. 🙃 Thank you for sharing. I'll catch more of them when I can.
This is wicked good! Fabulous world-building, and the storyteller-the bard- enchained. This is very much what storytelling is like, isn’t it? Loved it!
Like Jorge Luís Borges fighting to the death with Angela Carter in a deserted library basement where the lack of light gives Angela no advantage.
Masterful stuff, I enjoyed it tremendously. Need to go back and reread our Lamia haikus and see if there's a key to unlocking the serpent-lady's power.
My mind is boggling to think you could write something like this and then forget you'd done it. If I'd written it I would be reciting it daily to passers-by on the street.
Had to read again. There is something about this, the atmosphere, that reminds me of one of my favorite books, Piranesi. it’s stone monuments made real, a museum of monsters, just incredibly beautiful and satisfying.
Wow! Alright, haven't finished it yet, need to go offline briefly. Amazing though, I love the entire concept, will hear what Mother has to say sooon. Cheers!!
The revenge of myths! What an incredible text!
Thank you!!

I’d love to turn this into a whole novel someday. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Please do!! Yeah, I was hoping you'd say that.

Haha, yep! Don’t think I could stop writing even if I wanted to😅

Ah thank you! I’m glad you liked it. The haikus made me remember I had written this!
