There are three powerful parts of Zamioculcas zamiifolia: the rhizome, the stems, and the leaflets.

The Rhizome offers immortality of sorts.

Death, the hound that never sleeps
Always hunting. Always at your feet
Did you make a pact?
Will pleading with a devil be your final act?
There’s a little rhyme I found
When paired with rhizome
Stops the devils coming round.

NOTE: You’ll need the rhizome wet for this. Fresh out of the ground and weeping like a corpse. Crush it with your pestle in a large bowl until you have a gooey paste. You will need the rhizomes of several plants. Add three tablespoons of olive oil, extra virgin, it’s the best at repelling demons. Let it sit under the moonlight overnight, moon phase is not important. First thing the next morning, get naked. Smear the paste all over yourself. ALL OVER, don’t miss any spots. Get it in your hair even. All your hair.
