Inspired this time by the immense duel between Toshiro Mifune as Musashi and a warrior wielding the much feared sickle-and-ball-and-chain combo weapon that starts Samurai II (1955), the middle of the Musashi 'Samurai' trilogy.
The kusarigama is a formidable weapon, here's a little demo of its use today:
Each swing tells a tale
Life’s thread severed swift and clean
Reaping what was sown
Beautiful! I love this🖤
No need to worry
Death carries a scythe for all
Life will be done soon
😌A sobering but also comforting thought🖤
The red and the black:
Wrist-flicked life communal, or
Death sweeps from your arm
I love this, such a fine line between success and tragedy🖤
Scythes sheaves sunlight
Sickles sliced the half moon
To leave bales of hay for the day.
Lovely🖤
Blades as sharp as knives,
Efficient tools for harvest,
And, for taking lives... 😎
Ha! Use with caution🖤
Yes! Always use safety equipment. Such as, a hockey mask! Haha... 😎
😂
Angels have scythes for the
Judgement day that is coming
No sickles for them!
😬Sounds terrifying, well done🖤
Kusarigama -
sickle and chain, humming death
watch whirl, fall to blade

That is so cool. The guy with the bokken never even flinches. I mean I know it’s choreographed, but still the accuracy is so impressive.
Slice air, heart, and hand
Cleave in two with single stroke
And ne'er join as one
