Ukemochi is a Japanese goddess of food. As her story goes, she invited the moon god Tsukuyomi to a feast where she produced all of the food from her body. From her mouth she pulled meat and rice, and from her nose and rectum she produced even more food. Tsukuyomi was disgusted and killed her on the spot.

From her genitals grew wheat, and soy beans from her rectum. Kamimusubi, the god of creation, planted what had come from Ukemochi’s body and they became important crops in Japan.
