I’m in London for the week and I’m amused at people apologizing for the sweltering temperatures. I hail from Las Vegas. This summer has been 110 degrees Fahrenheit for months on end. Not one drop of rain.
It’s poured buckets in Halifax. We stood in raincoats and giggled from exquisite joy of watching raindrops splatter.
Oh wow. Well these temperatures are much cooler compared to that! We have had some summers that have gone above 100, but it is thankfully rarer. Although, the weather has been changing dramatically recently. I didn't even own a fan until about ten years ago, because it used to be so mild here. Now I own seven! Haha... 😎
I once read someone’s speculation or fictional piece that humanity had been planet hopping and destroying their worlds, war, pollution, etc. and moving on- Saturn’s rings were a visible aftermath of a nuclear war- so I went with it! 😬✨
Titan aged god footsteps quiet.
Abundant seedlings , crushed.
Saturn’s not in align with Jupiter and Mars.
Love this! The middle line is so tenderly tragic🖤
But there are reserved seeds placed by Saturn hidden below the surface. Unseen, ready to rebound with a spring of rainfall divine wisdom.
On Titan's shore I stand
the rings of Saturn setting -
tears now ice on my cheeks
Beautiful🖤 Got some wintery vibes, I love it!
Saturn ~
Saturn’s icy breath,
Heats the earth with frozen glare,
Rivers dry, flames rise.
.
Rings cast shadows deep,
On a world out of balance,
Seasons lost to time.
.
Under Saturn’s eye,
Storms gather, earth bends, cracks wide,
Nature pleads in vain.
Ooo apocalyptic! I love it🖤
We could do with some of his frozen glare here. It's been far too hot again in the UK this Summer! Haha... 😎

Dare I say climate change.
It's shocking how quickly things have got this bad. They say it's probably going to start hitting 50C in some parts of Europe in the near future! 😎
Time has failed to heal
the abundant golden fields
That age is now sealed
Oh nice! A little Chronos reference?
A god no longer,
Ringed by a planet.
Will you come undone ?
Ooo nice! Love the question in the last line, very cool touch🖤
Time in thy hand waits
Crops grow slowly toward death
All springing anew
Lovely! The cycle of life is represented so well here🖤
Oh, Saturn, really?
You fed the world, yet you can’t…
…make a decent car?
Ha! Maybe he should have stayed in his lane🥸
Father Time, husband
To Lua Mater. Arms won
In battle are hers.
Father Time bring us
Plenty. Fill our granaries
For our daily bread.
So good! Like a hymn sung at a ritual. I love it🖤
Dark is not the end
Light will bring us wheat of gold
We shall be reborn
Very optimistic, I really like this, it’s beautiful🖤
Revered elder god
Cycles within time, seasons
Death comes soon for all
Nice! I love the somber tone🖤
Saturn’s last world war
Gave her a wedding ring of
Naught but ice and rock
Ha! I see what you did there, very clever🖤

Hey, I wouldn’t put it past us😅
Sadly I agree! 🤨🙄🤔
In times of fortune
Feasts of grain and meat
Make people festive -
but when overthrown
vermin and weather
bring upon ruin.
Ooo nice! There’s a lot of mythology packed into these two poems🖤
Ha seems so
He meant it as a,
Fond farewell. "Give me a ring",
He said. So they did... 😎
