April 3 - Curse
CURSE
• Affliction’s harsh grip,
Beset by life’s cruel torment,
Harrowed souls weep__soft.

• Agonize in night,
Plagued thoughts besiege the weary,
Dawn’s light, a distant__hope.
• Anguish whispers low,
Racked by unseen tortures,
Silent screams__echo.
• Bedevil dreams fly,
Excruiting hearts lie broken,
Persecuted__peace.
• Besieged by shadows,
Torment’s unyielding clasp tight,
Torture binds the__light.
The last line of the last poem gave me chills!
I agree with that. Nice poem.
May you be mildly
But constantly inconvenienced
Wherever you go.

In fact, it’s really a curse
Dragged out in a hearse
😂I suppose it might be subjective, not everyone sees dying as a curse. Still horror-themed enough for me though!

This thirst for fresh blood, his curse
Fangs pierce tender flesh
