• Affliction’s harsh grip,

Beset by life’s cruel torment,

Harrowed souls weep__soft.

• Agonize in night,

Plagued thoughts besiege the weary,

Dawn’s light, a distant__hope.

• Anguish whispers low,

Racked by unseen tortures,

Silent screams__echo.

• Bedevil dreams fly,

Excruiting hearts lie broken,

Persecuted__peace.

• Besieged by shadows,

Torment’s unyielding clasp tight,

Torture binds the__light.
