I have it in my Kindle TBR but haven’t tackled it yet. I’ve seen all the various screen iterations though. I’m not a King fan in general, but Pennywise is kind of the iconic scary clown, had to include it.
I get it…and it has as many fans as “The Stand” which is another King work I read but wasn’t super enchanted with.
I liked his early books…Carrie, The Shining, Christine, Salem’s Lot, Pet Semetary…I even liked The Tommyknockers, but the last decent book he wrote was The Regulators (as Richard Bachman) imho…
We hear much about him, but his twin brother Poundfoolish is rarely thought of....

Ngl I like this better than King’s version. It’s scary, succinct, and King would never come up with such a great line as agony dessert🖤
Much prefer Ligotti for contemporary American horror myself, there's an elegance there that King could never achieve in a month of Sundays.
