September 28 - Silo
A silo is a large cylindrical building built to store grain and fermented crops. They are incredibly dangerous places.

Grain, life, will make this

Dust from grain can ignite and cause explosions, the fermenting process can fill the silo with NO2, a deadly gas, and can deprive the air of oxygen. One can also drown in grain. Moisture can clump the top layer of the grain into a deceptively stable crust. Silos are typically emptied from the bottom, to ensure the oldest grain is used first. This means that a void can form inside what looks like a full silo of grain. But take one step and you’ll plummet to your death as the dislodged grain fills in the void behind you, burying you alive.
