Attuned to insurrection
Calmed with blood and beer
In one of her myths she descends to earth to punish humans plotting against Ra. Bloodlust drove her to mass destruction and, afraid she might annihilate humanity, the other gods filled a lake with beer and dyed it red as blood. Sekhmet drank the beer and forgot her rage.
Intoxication
Blood on my lips, sweet vengeance
My cup runneth o’er

Of crimson to pacify.
