I do not know enough Eagles’ songs for this one😂 But I think Desperado Witch sounds like a good band name… idk what genre…

The ear worm you’ve infested us all with now is certainly some kind of sorcery. 😜

In the moonlit glade,

A mage conjures, charmer speaks—

Enchanter's night dream.

Magician's whisper,

Necromancer's shadow dance—

Sorcerer's secret.

Voodooist chants low,

Wizard's ancient magic breathes—

Magus stars align.

Beneath starlit skies,

Voodoo's echo, magian's gaze—

Conjuror's spell weaves.

In the silent wood,

Enchanter's song, wizard's might—

Sorcerer's dream blooms.

I do believe some of the witches were indeed ahead of their time. Good one. Love the enchantment that is implied

Witchcraft has flourished more in the world of fiction than the world of facts.

True! Historical witchcraft with sabbaths and devil worship and all that never happened. People confessed to wild things under torture because they were often told they’d be spared if they did, especially if they named co-conspirators. But mostly it was just the poor and inconvenient who were accused to get them out of the way. Even Wicca was created much later, in the 1950s.

The belief in magic certainly did exist, but not in the context of covens and weird sisters, etc.

I love to pretend though😜

This kind of denial of reality is exactly how witches have been able to feast on human skin under the radar for millenia.

I’ve always had a preoccupation with witchcraft -

Channeling Jack Kerouac's raw, unfiltered style:

Moonlit glade, oh man

Mage conjures, charmer speaks, dig

Enchanter's wild trip

Magician's whisper

Necromancer's shadow dance

Far out sorcery

Voodooist chants low

Wizard's ancient magic breathes

Cosmic alignment

Beneath starlit skies

Voodoo echoes, magian stares

Mind-blowing spell, man

In the silent wood

Enchanter's song, wizard's might

Sorcerer's dream trip

Mystic night, so deep

Magic pulses, secrets throb

Dreamers weave their spell

Whispers in the dark

Witch shadows dance, stars align—

Ancient powers rise

Under cosmic skies

Echoes of the hidden arts

Tapestry of fate

Nature's cathedral

Songs of power, dreams of might

Magic's gentle touch

In the heart of life

Mysteries and miracles

Waiting to be found

Moonbeams and magic

Sorcerers and dreamers, girl!

Tripping through the night

Whispers of the gods

Shadows of the unknown, dig?

Spells woven in stars

Chanting, breathing, low

Ancient secrets, cosmic might

Alignment of souls

Starlight and voodoo

Echoes of the magian's gaze

Mind-expanding, man

Silent woods, so deep

Songs of power, dreams of might

Sorcerer's bloom, wild.
