deep within the fields at dusk
I rush toward them.
I call out searching,
going deeper into the dark
"Where are you? I'm here!"
I stumble and fall,
dead things lay all around me,
I cry out for help.

I had never heard of polevic before- looked them up and fascinating creatures…its like the ocean and ‘Jaws’- I shall tread carefully across the fields from now on! These are fun-thank you for hosting them! 🥰
