Threshing is the process of separating grain from the straw encasing it. Today the process is mechanized, but historically the process was very time consuming and laborious.
Your prompt is THRESHING
Is there good in you?
Is there gold beneath your flesh?
We’ll beat it from you
At one point, threshers used grain flails, like those pictured above, to beat the grain out of the stalks.
To take a thresher course
Is to repeat the class of knowledge
Missing over the grains of truth missed.
Separate the wheat
from the chaff with all that effort?
I'd rather eat straw pancakes
