It was a dream or vision, but very real. Here's the full account:-
Cliff-top – I was standing on the edge of very high cliffs looking out over a stormy sea. The Sky was getting darker and there were heavy storm clouds coming in from the south-west, that were the color of gun metal.
Among the clouds I saw formations of hundreds of war planes coming in with the clouds. I realized that it was time to move, so I went inland a little way in search of some place of safety, or some people, but there was nothing but an old abandoned church that was locked. So I returned to the Cliff-edge. Then I heard a great
sound of rushing and vibrating like a helicopter, except that it was almost like it was alive with sound and rushing energy, and suddenly I was in the craft and being taken over the sea.
The sight of an enormous beacon, like a lighthouse with a circling spotlight acted as a kind of power source that first drew us towards it then acted as a sling-shot, taking us out over the ocean."
You might be mixing the Peoples Temple up with Heaven’s Gate. Jim Jones mixed the “Kool Aide” because he was about to get nabbed by the Feds and convinced everyone in the cult that they’d go to jail, too. 900+ died.
Heaven’s Gate was more like 40, but they thought aliens were going to pick them up when the Hale-Bopp comet came by… or pick their spirits up? Can’t remember exactly why they killed themselves.
