Cutting Out The Clinger
T. bipinnatifidum is a hemiepiphyte that clings to a large tree in tropical climates. It needs this tree for support, but lets its long aerial roots drop to the ground to get its own nutrients. So hemiepiphytes aren't parasitic, but they do shade out leaves, impede growth, and can literally topple their host trees if they get too heavy. There are many people like this, they invade, grab on, and don’t let go. They may not eat your food or steal your money, but they’re always around and they drag you down. It isn't only people who cling either, it can be memories, events, thoughts, moods, magic. Which is why having a good cord cutting ritual in the arsenal is necessary.
After much trial and error, this one has come to be my favorite.
You will need: · one black candle, votive size, the spell works quickly · one corpse wax candle, votive size as well NOTE: Grave wax/corpse wax/adipocere is formed when fatty tissue breaks down in the grave and settles in the coffin as a solid, waxy substance. It is not easy to find so be sure to use this spell only when nothing else works or there is a risk of crisis. · one 12-inch length of dried T. bipinnatifidum.
The black candle represents the one the spell will help, the corpse candle the one (or thing) that will be cut out. Set both candles on your altar, or any other flat surface, with enough space between them for the burning root.
