It’s more like they’re off limits because they’re sacred, not that they’re unclean. The unclean idea of taboo seems to be a colonizer addition to the word’s meaning. But still yeah, I want to know if there really are foods too sacred to eat without intervention. It’s on my ever growing future rabbit hole list.
