After the untimely death of her mother, Rebecca, Miriam takes up the mantle of Deadwater’s unofficial scribe. Unlike Rebecca, Miriam aims to take an active role in the town’s welfare. Along with her new guardian, Azazel, Miriam will have to navigate her grief, her newfound power, and the oddity that is Deadwater.
