There is not enough salt in the world
I drew The Magician today. Iām not sure how it applies to August, but I took it as a cue to call Mal, the Circus in Blackās demon magician. He was alarmed by Augustās desire to warm himself up using ambient energy. He thinks that August is attempting to learn how to sap my energy without my knowing it. Heās driving down from Deadwater tomorrow. August hates Mal, so this should be interesting.
I didnāt tell August I called Mal, but I told him the card meant he should focus on getting to his afterlife, and not on making me happy. He just looked at me cooly and nodded.
āI guess youāll be sleeping with salt in your bed again tonight, huh?ā He said before he vanished into the bookcase.
So yeah, definitely sleeping with salt in my bed.
