“I think I see a theme here,” August had fed the night before and easily held reversed Four of Cups in his translucent grip.
“Oh yeah?” I was knitting a new scarf. Stress relief and stuff.
“Well, you mentioned yesterday that I should be wary of addictions. So this card must be related to that one, yes?”
“No… I mean, yes all parts of our lives-“
“And unlives.”
“Yes, and unlives, are intertwined so they are connected in that sense. But cups are more emotional. And it’s reversed so the greed and selfishness likely refers to an internal state of yours. Maybe you’re keeping important information to yourself when you shouldn’t be. Or there’s something you want to say to someone that could help them, but you won’t say it.”
“I must tell Hellbunny I love him, madly.” August clasped his hands together at his breast. I laughed. Knitting is great for loosening a person up. I really must do more knitting.
“You have a charming laugh,” August said. I glanced up at him, his syrupy brown eyes met mine. I looked away and muttered ‘thanks.’ August sighed and when I looked up again there was nothing but a tarot card on the floor. I need much more knitting.
I approve of the knitting. ;)
