Still pondering the bridge. I’m assuming I need to complete the ritual that sent me here, but backwards. However, since I was blindfolded and drunk I have no idea how to perform it.
Goat sent me dreams of fire. I do not know what they mean.
Seven of Wands reversed, I need to find courage somehow.

I drew The Devil today. It seemed so out of place in this quiet ghost town. Also, it’s such an awful card, I felt sorry for goat, who looked at it with no small amount of melancholy. So, I kissed him on the top of the head, and he turned into the goat trainer Azazel.

I have always been terrified of Azazel, and that hasn’t changed, not much anyway. Nevertheless, I am very glad to have him here. According to him, August threw the ritual off by cutting my bonds, which were supposed to bind us all to Earth except him. We’ve all been flung to the mercy of the Universe. The Goat Man is working on a solution, he says, but it takes meditation.
I drew the Ace of Pentacles reversed, new beginnings upended. I certainly hope this new beginning ends soon, I want to go back to my old life.

I drew The Star again, confirmation that things will be alright. Patience, says Azazel, is a virtue. He is still mediating… and slowly eating up the rotting cows in the cemetery. Which is… well.

I drew the Father of Wands today and as soon as I saw it my heart filled with warmth for Mal. I miss him so much. Azazel says he may have a way to reverse the ritual, but we’ll need the builder from the library.
For some reason this is beginning to remind me of William Hope Hodgeson’s “The House on the Borderland.” 🤔 Which is odd because the narrative is not the same…it might be the dream-like quality that’s beginning to pervade our good narrator’s entries? I dunno…
